💡 Use a cork and a snack container to support your baby’s development!

1. Put the cork in the container and take it out, or watch your child do the same, and talk about what you or she’s doing.

2. Place the cork inside and put the top on, making it into an instrument (a shaker), singing along to your favorite song while you shake away.

3. Put the cork on, in, or under the container, all the while, saying the name for the spatial concept you’re “targeting.”

4. Place the container or cork just out of reach for an infant who’s learning to roll, crawl, or scale the environment.

Activities for babies and toddlers don’t have to be complicated, nor do you need any fancy toys to support your infant or toddler’s development.
