In the age of cell phones and social media, people are increasingly anxious and, frankly, losing the skillset of how to engage with real people in real time — which includes their own children.

I think people’s bandwidth for being a little bored is down, and playing with children can be repetitive… and you have to work that muscle of tolerance to engage your child, as well.

I think it’s super important to talk and sing to your kids. I can’t even say that enough in enough ways, and people feel uncomfortable doing it. They feel weird.

So what I love about what you offer is that it, first of all, it takes developmental research into account, and you’re the professional person saying, ‘this is okay and you can do it this way.’

I think it gives people permission, but it makes it easy.
